It is with great pride and hope that I welcome you to the Rwenzori Youth Empowerment Ark (RYEA). This organization was founded on a deep conviction—that youth are not just beneficiaries of development but powerful architects of it. Across the Rwenzori region and beyond, we see a generation full of ideas, talent, and courage. What they need is opportunity—and that is what RYEA exists to provide.

Our approach is holistic and inclusive. Whether it’s through equipping youth with digital and vocational skills, nurturing young entrepreneurs, amplifying girls’ voices, promoting mental wellness, or engaging in climate action—we ensure every young person feels seen, supported, and empowered. We are especially intentional about reaching out to marginalized groups: young women, out-of-school youth, persons with disabilities, and those in hard-to-reach communities.

As Executive Director, I have the privilege of witnessing transformation every day—young people starting businesses, leading local initiatives, and turning personal struggles into stories of strength. These are not isolated successes; they are proof that when youth are empowered, the future becomes unstoppable.
